| Bio: | Hi! I'm 22 years old. My Zodiac sign is Libra. I'm not sure how much astrology is really worth, but a lot of the traditional libra traits actually do describe me. Particularly the stuff about loathing conflict. It makes me uncomfortable. I like to be peaceful and stay out of crazy drama. I'm a big fan of Battlestar Galactica. I love Kara. I love Lee. Lee/Kara shipper! I will forgive Lee and/or Kara for pretty much anything (and blame RDM completely for their actions whenever my shippy heart is crushed). I refuse to give up on my 'ship until the very end...and then there's always reading fanfic if I don't get the ending that I'm hoping for. Also on BSG, I like Helo and Kara as BFFs. I like Roslin/Adama as Mom and Dad (I sorta 'ship them...don't wanna actually see them hooking up though). Doc Cottle's awesome, just thought I'd throw that in there. I'm also a Heroes fan. And no, I am not blind to it's faults (season 2 has really been trying my patience...ETA: Volume 2 is now over. It was largely a disappointment to me. Please oh please don't let Volume 3 suck), but I like it anyway. Nathan Petrelli became my favorite character on there at some point. I adore Joss Whedon. Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel were really my first big TV obsessions. I was a Buffy/Angel shipper for years. I know a lot of people ended up shipping Buffy/Spike...they were hot, but I loved B/A too much to be able to ship her with Spike for very long. I couldn't stand the whole Angel/Cordelia thing (sorry to anyone who liked them, but for me...just NO!) Totally drawing a blank on what else to say right now...will update when something comes to me :) Updating: Well, I've had this LJ since June and I don't really do much here. Mostly I just comment on other people's journal entries. I leave feedback on fics and graphics, etc. Always positive though, I will never make a negative remark about someone's work. I know that I would probably never be able to put myself out there and do what all the creative people are doing (too shy, always have been, I'm my own worst critic). I'm pretty nice (most of the time). I may, on occasion, make a snarky remark or two about something in fandom...most likely it would be about Dee in BSG (no disrespect meant to the actress, who I'm sure is a lovely person). Never liked Dee. She bored me. She screwed over poor sweet Billy...etc. Please don't ever try telling me that I don't have the right to dislike her because that will just piss me off. My reasons for disliking her go way beyond her supposedly being an "obstacle for my 'ship". I find her doormat status and seeming lack of self-respect insulting as a woman. (ETA: Just to be clear, I am not an over the top character basher though. I simply don't like it when someone tells me what I can or can't think.) I usually try keep my bitchier thoughts to myself though.
